A French inspired Hot Chocolate
A slice of cake is perfect to be served with a scope of vanilla ice cream.
At the comfort of your own home enjoy a deliciously creamy French-inspired hot chocolate, whilst imaging yourself at a cafe in Paris.
A combination of milk and dark chocolate, double cream and milk, make this a heavenly rich, and creamy hot chocolate, that is highly addictive.

Ingredients
- 4 cups (1000ml) whole milk
- 2 cups (500g) double cream)
- 225g milk chocolate
- 80g dark chocolate
Extras
- Marshmallows
- Whipped Crean
- Cocoa Powder
- Ralahami Ground Cinnamon
Utensils
- Cooking Pot
- Mugs
- Pyrex jug
Instructions
1.
- 4 cups whole milk
- 225g milk chocolate
- 80g dark chocolate
Place the cooking pot over medium-low heat and add the milk and gradually add the milk and dark chocolate.
2.
- 2 cups double cream
Keep stirring until the chocolate milk comes to a simmer.
Gradually add the double cream and keep stirring.
3.
Keep stirring, until the mixture is completely smooth and slightly thickened.
4.
*If the mixture is too thick add another ¼ cup of milk or if the mixture is too thin keep simmering for a few minutes longer till the mixture becomes thickened.
5.
When the chocolate mixture is thickening (in comparison to hot cocoa made from chocolate powder)- remove from the heat and keep stirring and letting the mixture cool for a few minutes.
6.
If you wish, pour the mixture onto a pyrex jug- making it easier to pour the hot chocolate into the mugs.
7.

- Whipped Cream
- Cocoa Powder
- Ralahami Ground Cinnamon
Pour the chocolate mixture into the mugs.
Add the whipped cream and marshmallows and sprinkle a combination of cocoa powder and Ralahami Ground Cinnamon.
